Nona Source's encounter with Waste

09 June 2026

Committed to bring more circularity in the fashion industry, Nona Source very happy to see emerging fashion brands integrating deadstock fabrics in their creative processes.

French-based designer Valentine Hotton recently launched her brand WASTE, which sublimates our deadstock fabrics by designing easy and timeless wardrobe tailored for the modern woman. More than just creating garments, the brand aims to reduce textile waste by giving a second life to surplus materials, thus limiting the environmental impact associated with the production of new textiles.

'In an increasingly polluting sector, I realized that the turning point towards responsible production was very far from being initiated. It therefore seems urgent to me to conceive and consume fashion differently. It was necessary to give a second life to all these fabrics intended to be thrown away. This is how WASTE was born. I want to offer women a wardrobe that combines elegance, confidence, comfort and integrity.' Valentin Hotton

Driven by a real desire to provide innovative solutions, this collaboration testifies to our mutual belief in a new fashion industry where creativity is nurtured, waste is reduced, and sustainability takes center stage in our decision making.
