Care instruction

Upon reception of the hides:

  • - Lay the hides flat
  • - Do not hang the hides
  • - Store in a cold, dry place
  • - Avoid sun exposure and direct heat
  • - Avoid humidity

These are generic care recommendations. To take care of your leather in the long-run, we also recommend the following:

  • - Store your leather items in a tote bag / shoe box
  • - Water proof once a year
  • - Sometimes brush with a soft crepe brush in the direction of the grain to remove dust and dirt
  • - If wet or stained, dab gently with a clean cloth, let dry naturally at room temperature
  • - For stubborn stains, use suede shampoo

In case of doubt, consult a cobbler or leather craftsman.
