Upon reception of the hides:
- - Lay the hides flat
- - Do not hang the hides
- - Store in a cold, dry place
- - Avoid sun exposure and direct heat
- - Avoid humidity
These are generic care recommendations. To take care of your leather in the long-run, we also recommend the following:
- - Store your leather items in a tote bag / shoe box
- - Water proof once a year
- - Sometimes brush with a soft crepe brush in the direction of the grain to remove dust and dirt
- - If wet or stained, dab gently with a clean cloth, let dry naturally at room temperature
- - For stubborn stains, use suede shampoo
